	Vertical Builders was founded on the ideal of leadership and integrity: Leadership in craft and service, and integrity in all we do.

From the very first, to each subsequent time we meet with a homeowner, we carefully listen to their desires and needs.  It is our goal to fulfill these desires while creating a lasting relationship that results in a pleased client. 

We begin by conducting several pre-construction meetings to assist the homeowner with product choices and to ensure they are informed with the construction schedule and process. During construction, we consistently inform the homeowner of the project’s progress. 

We know that hiring a contractor can be stressful, which is why we strive to make the construction and remodeling process as worry-free as possible.

Vertical Builders was founded to provide professional and high-quality construction services to homeowners in the City of Richmond and the surrounding areas.  Ryan Sedwick, the founder of Vertical Builders and a graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, strives to continue growing V.B. under these values.  While growing up in the construction industry, he learned early how a company is defined:  by the skill in one’s trade, and the quality of service that is provided.
